Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Wednesday.

Shares of DLF (up 0.54 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 0.37 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.2 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate (down 3.57 per cent), SOBHA (down 1.69 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1.67 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.08 per cent) and Godrej Properties (down 1.04 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.77 per cent down at 387.25.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 45.75 points at 16568.85, while the BSE Sensex stood down 162.78 points at 55629.49.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 ended in the green, while 29 closed in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, BHEL and Vedanta were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Meghmani Finechem Ltd., VST Tiller Trac, Pioneer Distil, Kabra Extrusion and MPS Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd., Shrenik, Viceroy Hotels, Vertoz Advertising and Future Market hit their fresh 52-week lows.
