Xiaomi has officially taken wraps off the Redmi 10 budget smartphone. The official announcement has come just a couple of days later it accidentally spilled beans about the device. This is a direct Redmi 9 successor and is packed with a number of significant upgrades and that across all major aspects.

The Redmi 10 sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) DotDisplay i.e. notched display. The panel offers up to 90Hz refresh rate with adaptive support. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G88 processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB storage. There are three configuration options to choose from 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB.

The back panel has quad rear cameras headlined by a 50-megapixel sensor. The other three sensors include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It will be supported by 18W wired fast charging, 9W wireless fast charging, and comes bundled with a 22.5W charger.

The phone will boot MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box. Other noteworthy features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 4G LTE connectivity. It will be sold in Sea Blue, Pebble White, and Carbon Gray color options.

Xiaomi has priced the Redmi 10 at $179 for the base 4GB/64GB model. There are two more configuration options 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB which are priced at $199 and $219 respectively.
