Destiny's Child Social Media Update Causes Fan Panic

Destiny’s Child fans are freaking out.

The legendary girl group – made up of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams – made an update to their social media accounts that has caused fans to speculate about potential new plans.

On Wednesday (August 18), fans noticed that the official Destiny’s Child Facebook and Twitter accounts updated their header photos.

As a result, the group’s name began to trend online, as fans expressed hopes for everything from reissues of old music, to new music to a reunion tour.

At the same time, Beyoncé revealed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar this month that new music is “on the way,” although she didn’t specify which project she was talking about.

DC3‘s last studio album (so far), Destiny Fulfilled, was released back in 2004.

More recently, the group celebrated the 20th anniversary of “Bootylicious,” which went No. 1 in 2001.
