Haryana chief minister
Om Prakash Chautala and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) supremo will appear for the Haryana Board of School Education Class X compartment examination in English at Sirsa on Wednesday. As Chautala has a fracture, he will get the help of a writer to do his paper.
Chautala, 86, who was convicted in the JBT recruitment scam in 2013 by the CBI court and sentenced to 10 years’ jail, completed his matriculation during his jail term in Tihar, but missed the English
exam.
After that O P Chautala appeared for the senior secondary examination of the Bhiwani education board open examination system for Class XII. The result was announced on August 5, but the board had withheld his result as he had not appeared in the mandatory language (English) examination.
BSEH secretary Hitender Kumar told media that Chautala would appear in the English compartment exam on August 18.
"Former
CM had a fracture in his hand, so he requested for a writer, and he was allowed as per provisions of the education board," he added.
