Punjab: Ludhiana civic body seizes 35 kgs of banned plastic carry bags

LUDHIANA: Ludhiana civic officials in Punjab on Wednesday seized plastic carry bags having width less than 50 microns.
As many as 11 challans were also issued to the defaulters.
The officials seized 35 kgs of plastic carry bags.
The sanitary inspector Ashwani Sahota said the checking was done in areas like Lakkar bazar, Subhani building Chowk, CMC Road, Baba Than Singh Chowk, Shingaar cinema Road and Samrala Chowk.
