Itanagar, Aug 18 (UNI) As many as 142 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state's infection tally to 51,655.
Out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the maximum at 30, followed by Lower Subansiri 24, Leparada, East Siang and Anjaw eight each, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.
Of these, 67 patients are asymptomatic and 75 symptomatic.
According to the bulletin, the recoveries tally rose to 49,640 as 215 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is over 96 per cent.
Active cases tally stands at 1,763.
Death toll at 252.
