Pakistani balloons found should be probed being case sensitive : Congress

Hamirpur (HP), Aug 18 (UNI) HP Congress party has demanded a high level probe into the finding of the green colored balloons printed with Pakistan in Urdu in various parts of the state including the districts of Hamirpur, Mandi and Bilaspur recently.

Deepak Sharma, the senior spokesman of the party said that it was a serious issue and must be investigated at the earliest.

He alleged that such balloons had been found at a time when threats were given to the Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur not to hoist the national Flag on Independence Day.

Sharma said that people of the areas where these balloons were found were living in fear and the government should see that some anti-national forces were not working from within the state to create chaos here.

He demanded that an inquiry should be conducted so that the reality could come out.

Sharma warned the government that the radical forces would try to become more active in the country after Afghanistan was occupied by extremists. He said even in India, fundamentalist forces dominate, which can spoil the atmosphere of unity in diversity of the country.

Congress spokesperson said today there was a need to crush any kind of fundamentalism. Trying to take political advantage while doing vote bank politics and trying to hurt the basic spirit of India's Sarva Dharma Sambhav was most unfortunate.

He said in view of the situation prevailing at present there was a need to strengthen the security network across the state and suspected persons to be booked under the law of land so that they could not create problems both to the people and the government.
