AgenciesNEW DELHI: Shares of Meghmani Finechem Ltd., VST Tiller Trac, Aster DM Health, MindTree and Jubilant Food, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:45AM (IST) on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 79.7 points to 16694.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Akash Infra-Proj, Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd., Silgo Retail, Radha Madhav and Inventure Grwth, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 33 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 17 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finserv, UltraTech Cem. and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while Hindalco, BPCL, Titan Company, Wipro and Hero MotoCorp traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 308.67 points up at 56100.94 at 10:45AM (IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Diversified, Defence, Agro Processing, Tourism & Hospitality and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in IT - Hardware, Petrochemicals, Power, Industrial Consumables and Sugar sectors.
