Gurgaon: For the upcoming sero survey planned across Haryana, the Gurgaon health department chalked out a micro-plan for the city on Tuesday. The officials aim to collect 40 samples from each cluster in three days.
Gurgaon will be divided into 75 rural and urban clusters for the sero survey, and 25 clusters will be covered each day. There will be 12 teams spread across the city. Each team will have a medical officer, a lab technician and an ANM worker. Also, there will be a supervisor in every team.
In this third survey, Gurgaon rural clusters include Fazalpur Badli, Gugana, Jhund Sarai Viran, Shekhupur Majri, Siwari, Naya Behram Pur, Budhera, Sadhrana, Kukdola, Lakhnola, Manesar, Naharpur Kasan , Sehrawan, Meoba, Mardpura, Bilaspur, Labuwas, Bapas, Daultabad, Khalilpur, Khetiawas, Khor, Jatola, Lokara, Lokari, Mao, Milakpur, Mumtajpur, Rampur, Sapedar Nagar, Sherpur, Bhogpur, Bidhwaka, Durga colony, Ghamroj, Karanki Kherli, Kuliaka, Lohatki, Mohammadpur Gujar, Ranika Singhola, Rethoj, Sampki Nagli, Bandhwari and Wazirabad.
Meanwhile, the 31 urban clusters will include ward numbers 3, 21, 10, 8, 6, 15 of Sohna; ward numbers 10, 1, 2, 5, 7 of Pataudi; ward numbers 5, 3,1, 7, 6 of Haileymandi; ward numbers 27, 26, 25, 23, 19, 18, 17, 16, 10, 5, 2 of Gurgaon and ward numbers 7 and 1 of Farrukhnagar.
“This time around, the samples will be sent to Chandigarh for processing. We will have a training session soon for district health officials. Guidelines regarding sample collection will be decided by the state,” said Dr Virender Yadav, chief medical officer, Gurgaon.
“The state was recently ravaged by a second wave. Currently, there is a downward trend in cases, primarily due to the lockdown. This phase gives us time to reflect and plan mitigating strategies for the future,” said a Haryana health department official.
The first sero-survey was conducted over three days last August and the second one was conducted on October 19 and 20 this year.
