ReutersNEW DELHI: HDFC Bank (Rs. 930.85 crore), Apollo Hospital (Rs. 794.76 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 624.42 crore), Jubilant Food (Rs. 540.90 crore), MindTree (Rs. 527.75 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 476.99 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 409.33 crore), Aavas Financiers (Rs. 369.36 crore), Infosys (Rs. 362.66 crore) and TCS (Rs. 354.99 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:30AM in Wednesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 76.9 points up at 16691.5, while BSE Sensex was up 276.92 points at 56069.19 as of 10:30AM (IST) on August 18.
In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 2.96 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (up 2.03 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (up 2.02 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 1.80 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 1.07 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 0.64 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 0.50 per cent), Titan Company Ltd. (down 0.50 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 0.41 per cent) and ITC Ltd. (down 0.33 per cent) were among the top losers.
