Akash Jagga, who plays the role of Gagan Narayan in the show, is elated with the show’s accomplishment. Expressing his happiness, he told Times of India, “And it's a century. Sasural Simar Ka 2 has given me so much love and recognition, it feels extremely unreal. I love working with my amazing co-stars, we did not expect the season 2 of a show whose season 1 aired for almost seven years to be loved exactly the same. All the cast and crew of our show are just not able to contain their emotions, we are happy and grateful beyond words.”
When the actor was asked about his bonding with co-stars, Akash replied, “I love being a part of Sasural Simar Ka 2, the entire cast and crew are like my family and we enjoy spending time with each other. It's so fun, shooting at any time doesn't feel like working with them.”
Further, Akash added how he and the show's family are extremely grateful for the love and asks people to watch Sasural Simar Ka 2 to keep showering him with blessings, so that the show runs through more and more episodes and could touch new milestones soon.
