Myleene Klass detailed her struggles with myopia, also known as short sightedness, to raise awareness for children's eye health in an Instagram post shared on Tuesday.
The star, 43, shared a sweet duo of childhood snaps and an adorable picture showing her with her three children and revealed she wanted to urge parents to check their kids' eyesight, divulging: 'I have worn glasses since I was 4'.
Proudly sporting her glasses later in the day, she looked effortlessly chic as she emerged in a pair of dark framed specs paired with a smart black suit while leaving Global Radio Studios, after her Smooth FM show.

'I have worn glasses since I was 4. At school, I could never see the board unless I was at the front of the class and reading music meant nearly sitting on top of the stand blocking everyone’s view.'

'I take my kids’ eye health really seriously as myopia can be hereditary and 1 in 6 kids in the UK are affected by it by the age of 15.'
