Mumbai reports 198 new Covid-19 cases

MUMBAI: For the second day in a row, Mumbai city on Tuesday reported new Covid-19 cases below 200.
With 198 people testing positive, the overall case count has increased to 7,39,724.
During the day, 304 people were also discharged. Till date, 7,18,658 people have been recovered.
However, two people succumbed to the virus. The overall death count stands at 15,994.
The city is now left with 2,640 active cases.
While the recovery rate is 97 per cent, the doubling rate is 1,986 days.
There are no active containment zones (slums and chawls) in the city, however, 21 buildings remain sealed.
