47-yr-old woman pillion rider dies in road accident in Nashik

Nashik, Aug 16 (UNI) A 47-year-old woman pillion rider died after a fall from a running two-wheeler near Nandurgaon, near here. on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Ashabai Motilal Birari (resident of Khadakpada).
Ashabai was riding pillion on a two-wheeler with her husband from Jatra Hotel towards Jail Road in city. At Nandurgaon, when the two-wheeler collided with a speed bump in front of a school, Ashabai fell down on the road and was injured, police said.
She was admitted to a private hospital with serious head injuries, where she succumbed before getting medical treatment.
A case of accidental death has been registered at Adgoan Police station in this regard, sources added.
