Mumbai Local Train News Today: Central Railway to INCREASE 1686 suburban services on Mumbai division from TODAY

In a relief to the passengers, the Indian Railways will run 1686 suburban services on Mumbai division from today August 16, 2021. The Central Railway has tweeted about this information from its official Twitter handle.

It has to be noted that at present, Central Railway is running 1612 services on suburban network of Mumbai division. Now, with the increase of 74 services, the total services of 1686 services on its all suburban services will become 95 per cent of the pre-COVID services. The services before COVID-19 were 1774. The passengers have been advised to wear mask for their safety.

Incidentally, the Mumbai local train services resumed for those who have taken both the shots of COVID-19 vaccine from Sunday, August 15, 2021.
