The Red Sox and the Yankees double header showdown promises to be very interesting. After the Yankees recent loss at the “Field of Dreams” game, perhaps the Bronx Bombers can change their luck against their classic rivals.
The first game starts on Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 10:05 AM EST with the second starting at 4:05 PM PST. The teams will face each other again on Wednesday Aug. 18 at 4:05 PM. The New York team has had a tumultuous season following multiple injuries and a Covid-19 outbreak that left star players such as Aaron Judge, Kyle Higashioka and Gio Urshela out of the lineup. While they haven’t fully recovered, the team has seen improvement over the last month, thanks to their newly acquired power hitters Anthony Rizzo and Joey Gallo.
But a Red Sox win is far from out of the question following their recent success, part of which can be credited to Chris Sale and Kyle Schwarber, two star players who recently returned to the Boston team’s lineup. However tomorrow’s game goes, though, it is sure to be an action-packed one that not only marks a well-matched rivalry but will set the tone for the rest of the season. That being said, you’ll want to make sure you have a way to stream the games from home in real time.
