
NEW DELHI: Apollo Hospital (Rs. 3804.10 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 2872.79 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 2574.81 crore), Infosys (Rs. 1645.33 crore), TCS (Rs. 1527.76 crore), RIL (Rs. 1265.99 crore), Tech Mahindra (Rs. 1136.54 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 1022.42 crore), SBI (Rs. 965.49 crore) and HDFC (Rs. 762.10 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 51.55 points up at 16614.6, while BSE Sensex rose 209.69 points to 55792.27.
In the Nifty index, Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 3.82 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (up 3.40 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 3.35 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (up 2.39 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 2.37 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd. (down 2.28 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 2.02 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (down 1.98 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 1.94 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 1.84 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
