Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national president Jagat Prakash Nadda on August 17 strongly condemned the act of vandalism of Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s statue at Lahore Fort in Pakistan. “It is deplorable to see the statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh attacked in Pakistan. To make matters worse, the silence of the Pakistani authorities is even more deafening. It makes many wonder, is the Pakistani state complicit in such attacks against minorities,” said Nadda.
