The Zone Gym honoured Qatari weightlifter Fares Ibrahim in recognition of him winning the country’s first Olympic gold medal ever at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in the men’s 96kg weightlifting competition.
The honouring ceremony took place at The Zone Gym, the leading fitness centre in Lusail, on Friday in attendance of the company’s management and a number of athletes.
Ibrahim joined a team of athletes and coaching professionals to practice some fitness exercises. He also got to learn the different services and programmes being provided by The Zone Gym to all its beginner and professional members.
The management of Aura Group, the owner and operator of The Zone Gym, honoured the gold medallist, and also announced that Ibrahim and any other athlete champion are welcome to visit The Zone Gym.
