CHENNAI: Minister for Fisheries Anitha R Radhakrishnan assured the Assembly that the State government will take steps to prevent the Union government from passing the Indian Marine Fisheries Bill, 2021 in Parliament. He was replying to Congress MLA JG Prince, who asked the minister about efforts to protect the fishermen from the “dangerous” Bill.
