'Bigg Boss OTT Sunday Ka Vaar' was an explosive episode as host Karan Johar lashed out at contestants for their unmissable comments and attitude inside the house. Setting the tone for the upcoming week, Karan criticised several contestants including Divya Agarwal for her remarks and misbehaviours in the Bigg Boss house. And he sure did it with his trademark wit and sarcasm!
Among the few who earned some praise from Karan was Shamita Shetty. Making an observation that Shamita mostly stays aloof and pointing out that the people are yet to see the real Shamita, he questioned the 'Mohabbatein' actress if there was baggage that she has been carrying.
As per a report in News18.com, Shamita said, "I have had a very difficult journey of 20-25 years in the industry, I am more confident as a person now. People know me as Shamita 'Shetty', Shilpa’s sister. It's a protective shadow, I am lucky to have that, but people don't know the real me."
The news report mentioned that Shamita broke down while talking.
In fact, in the promo video shared by Voot on its Instagram handle, Bigg Boss fans caught a glimpse of Shamita breaking into tears and then watched the whole episode on Sunday (August 15).
Besides this, in the episode, host Karan Johar lost his cool on Divya Agarwal her misbehaviour and unmissable comments. Karan bashed Divya Agarwal for her comment that "I don't need Bigg Boss in my career." Karan Johar got furious and said "Tell me, Divya ma'am, if you don't need the show, why are you here? Yeh Bigg Boss ka ghar hai, this is no party. You all are playing a game, let's get that straight."
After a never-ending argument with the host, Divya Agarwal emotionally broke down and was seen fighting with Shamita Shetty.
At another moment, when Shamita said, "I really don’t care", Karan didn't spare her a lashing either. He blasted her saying, "I will not care about you if you don't care about yourself and the show." Shamita was later seen wiping away her tears.
Interestingly, Shamita and Divya, who were thought to be on good terms with each other initially, have been taking off on each other in the last couple of days. It all started when Divya called Shamita 'Bossy', to which the latter retorted saying, "I've done three reality shows before and this is my fourth." Divya also accused Shamita of taking her screen time and asserted that she didn't like her diplomacy.
