Great Place to Work® India recognizes Gautam Khanna, CEO of P.D. Hinduja Hospital, as one of India’s Best Leaders in Times of Crisis 2021.

In a very special study conducted by Great Place to Work® India, 75 leaders have been recognized for their exemplary leadership during this very challenging year. 25 of these leaders are spearheading mid-size organizations (with 100-500 employees), while 50 are leaders of large organizations (with more than 500 employees).

This unique study by Great Place to Work® India was conducted to gain insight into the various ways in which organizations dealt with the VUCA environment intensified by the pandemic. Great Place to Work® India then validated the study with employees through a detailed survey.

On receiving the award, Gautam Khanna, said, “I am delighted to receive this unique recognition. This award recognizes the passion, hard work, dedication put in by all our staff, nurses, consultants, and managers to tide over the most challenging year effectively we have ever faced.

“As the pandemic hit, we had to deal with a series of crisis, ensuring that continued uninterrupted medical care is provided to both covid and non-covid patients. We changed how we functioned, broke the traditional departmental silos, moved to an integrated cross-functional team approach, and adopted digital to deliver services like teleconsultation, CovidCare@Home, etc.

“Our entire team across hierarchy and functions was aligned to the common goals of ensuring the safety of staff and patients and providing uninterrupted, best medical care to patients.

“Kudos to all of them for having excelled in the most challenging circumstances. I would also like to express my deep gratitude to all our Trustees, Executive Council, and Board Members for their support, guidance, and trust,” Khanna said.
