Hitesh Sampat gets candid about his character in Tera Mera Saath Rahe
MUMBAI: The storyline of Star Bharat's show Tera Mera Saath Rahe has left fans excited. With this show, the famous saas-bahu pair of Rupal Patel and Gia Manek is once again making a comeback together.
This time there is a new member in the house that is Anand Mama aka Hitesh Sampat. He has been an eminent name in both Hindi and Gujarati TV industry as well as a prominent figure in the theatre world.
In an exclusive interview with Hitesh Sampat, we asked him about his character in the show and his bond with Giaa, "Anand could be called a family guy. Gopika is his niece and he adores her equally like his own children Aashi and Hiten. Talking about his wife Ramila, he loves her a lot but even scared of her. Anand doesn't have a regular earning. Ironically, his name is Anand but he has no joy in his life."
While talking about Gopika and Mama's bond, "Anand supports and encourages Gopika for everything. He takes her stand at every situation and plays all the roles in her life, he is her mother, father and also her only friend. I also have a daughter and while performing scenes with Giaa aka Gopika, I always see her as my daughter and indeed the emotions come out naturally."
Hitesh has been a prominent name in the gujarati tv industry as well and given many blockbuster performances there too, while getting chatty with him we asked him about his journey in doing a completely positive character in Tera Mera Saath Rahe after play Kanti kaka (grey character) in Mehek on Colors Gujarati.
Hitesh shared an intriguing answer to it, "As an actor, to get more and more challenges is always exciting. All we need is the correct reaction to the action. So It has always been a give and take. I am really overwhelmed to see all the love that Kanti kaka got and hoping for the same adoration for Anand. Indeed the characters are opposite but it is all about that challenge."
We can;t wait to see more of Anand Mama and Gopika's camaraderie onscreen.
