    Stock market update: Nifty Auto index 0.0%

    The Nifty Auto index closed 0.0 per cent at 10088.3.

    Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
    NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index closed on a note on Tuesday.

    Shares of Bajaj Auto (up 1.57 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 1.28 per cent), Maruti Suzuki (up 0.86 per cent), Bharat Forge (up 0.8 per cent) and Eicher Motors (up 0.79 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

    On the other hand, Tata Motors (down 1.98 per cent), TVS Motor Company (down 1.57 per cent), Bosch (down 1.49 per cent), Amara Raja Batteries (down 1.28 per cent) and Ashok Leyland (down 1.25 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

    The Nifty Auto index closed 0.0 per cent at 10088.3.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 51.55 points at 16614.6, while the BSE Sensex stood up 209.69 points at 55792.27.

    Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 ended in the green, while 23 closed in the red.

    Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Vedanta, Devyani International Ltd. and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

    Shares of FIEM Industries, Apollo Hospital, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd., Confidence Petro and MRO-TEK Realty hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Akash Infra-Proj, Transwind Infrastruc, YES Bank, Ujjivan SFB and Future Market hit their fresh 52-week lows.
