In total, he has played 11 times for Liverpool, a club he joined at the age of seven and made headlines in 2016 when he scored in a 2-0 EFL Cup win against Leeds.

Manchester City are reportedly eyeing up a move for football's next big thing - but it's not his ability with the ball that makes him stand out. Step forward Solihull Moors striker Kyle Hudlin - Britain's tallest outfield footballer, who stands at a lofty 6ft 9ins. In comparison, former England striker and Sportsmail's Peter Crouch is slightly shorter that Hudlin, who is 6ft 7ins. ALVISE CAGNAZZO IN ITALY: Juventus have finally reach an agreement to sign Manuel Locatelli, with the Italy international midfielder poised to sign from Sassuolo for £30million. Locatelli, 23, has agreed a contract through until 2026 worth around £2.5m per year, bringing to an end a transfer saga that had been ongoing since June. He will join Juventus initially on loan with an obligation to buy next year.

The Portuguese forward has just 10 months left to run on his £25.5million-a-year contract at Juventus and his future in Turin is far from certain, having been linked with moves to PSG and former club Manchester United in recent weeks. Reports from Spanish television station El Chiringuito on Wednesday even claimed that a emotional return to Real Madrid - the club where he won four Champions League titles and remains their best ever goalscorer - was on the cards, with Ancelotti said to be behind the move. Harry Kane has trained with his Tottenham team-mates for the first time this season on Tuesday after completing his period of isolation following a holiday in the Bahamas.  The England captain, who Manchester City are chasing in a £120million deal, has been staying at The Lodge, a hotel at Tottenham's training ground, while he completed his isolation. Kane had yet to train with Nuno Espirito Santo's team this summer and was therefore deemed unable to play in Sunday's Premier League opener against Manchester City.

Tammy Abraham has completed his £34million move to Roma after putting pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Italian club and taking their No 9 shirt (pictured main). Abraham arrived in the Italian capital on Sunday to complete his medical, where he will now play under former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho. Abraham's departure comes days after Romelu Lukaku sealed a sensational return to Chelsea in a £98million club transfer fee record, which pushed the English forward down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have a £68m buy-back clause in the deal and director Marina Granovskaia (inset) promptly opened the door for Abraham to one day return by saying: 'Tammy will always be welcomed back at Stamford Bridge as one of our own.'

Anthony Martial (right) claimed that 'big-time player' Raphael Varane (left) will 'bring all his powers' to Manchester United as he insisted the defender won't 'need too much time' to adapt. £42million signing Varane was officially unveiled to the Old Trafford faithful on the pitch before United's 5-1 mauling of Leeds on the opening weekend of the Premier League. Martial, who has won a World Cup alongside the defender for France in 2018, insisted his international teammate will bring a winning quality to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side. Manchester United have bolstered their ranks with the additions of Varane and England international Jadon Sancho for £76.5m in a successful summer of transfer business and Martial believes both are 'really great players'.

David Moyes is on the hunt for another defender before the window slams shut at the end of the month, with the club in talks with Chelsea over a move for their 26-year-old defender. However, The Evening Standard reports that the deal has stalled due to Zouma's demands of a salary of over £100,000-a-week. West Ham are understood to be working on a limited transfer budget this summer, meaning that Zouma - whose contract expires in 2023 - will need to reduce his wage demands if the East London club are to land him.

Romelu Lukaku admits he cannot wait to link up with Kai Havertz in Chelsea's frontline after sealing his £98million return to Stamford Bridge - and revealed he tried to convince the German to sign for the Blues over a year ago. Lukaku is ready to be unleashed against Arsenal in his second debut on Sunday - ten years since he first joined the club - and fans are already anticipating his arrival and the possibility of a partnership with Havertz, and the 28-year-old admits he has been an admirer of the forward. He faced off against Havertz in the Europa League quarter-finals last August and saw enough of his talents to convince him he was a fit for the Blues. 

Rio Ferdinand (inset) has urged Manchester United to sign a midfielder before the end of the trasnfer window and claimed Saul Niguez (left) would be a 'perfect fit' while Declan Rice (right) would be a 'massive addition'. United have already splashed out £73million on forward Jadon Sancho and £42m on defender Raphael Varane, but Ferdinand thinks Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still needs more depth in his midfield. Atletico Madrid star Niguez and Hammers' man Rice have both been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past and Ferdinand insisted both players would strengthen his former side. 

Lautaro Martinez's agent has doubled down on the player's commitment to Inter Milan this season - insisting the forward will do 'everything possible' to stay with the Italian champions. The Argentine has been strongly linked with a move to north London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal in this window with the Nerazzurri in a difficult financial situation as a result of the pandemic - already being forced to sell star man Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea for £98million, while Achraf Hakimi joined PSG for £50m. Sportsmail reported last weekend that Tottenham agreed a £60million deal with the Serie A side for their star frontman, while Arsenal have also been linked, but agent Alejandro Camano sought to shut down the possibility of a deal last week, saying: 'His decision is to stay'. 

Davinson Sanchez has revealed Tottenham's stars will have no problems playing with Harry Kane this season even though he wants to move to Manchester City this summer. The Spurs and England star striker first told Tottenham of his desire to leave the club for Premier League champions City back in May, when Spurs' chances of playing Champions League football this season had eradicated.  City have seen a £100million bid for Kane rejected this summer with Spurs owner Daniel Levy demanding a £150m price tag and Sportsmail revealed Pep Guardiola's side are preparing an improved offer before the end of the transfer window.
