Covid-19: 293 new cases detected in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Aug 16 (UNI) As many as 293 fresh Covid-19 patients and five deaths were reported in a single day today, taking the district's tally of such cases to 2,01,291 and the toll to 5,623, respectively.
On the other hand, 613 more patients were discharged during the day across the district, taking overall count of recoveries to 1,92,615.
There are now 3,053 active cases in the district, an official report said.
