Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: MPS Infotecnics (number of shares traded: 13.22 crore), Devyani International Ltd. (number of shares traded: 9.16 crore), Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 8.83 crore), Trident Ltd (number of shares traded: 3.09 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 2.46 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 2.21 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.70 crore), BHEL (number of shares traded: 1.25 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.09 crore) and Ibull Real Estate (number of shares traded: 0.75 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 5.15 points up at 16534.25, while BSE Sensex was up 65.22 points at 55502.51 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.53 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 1.14 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 1.08 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (up 0.99 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (up 0.99 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Divi's Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.37 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd. (down 1.32 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 1.30 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 1.04 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.03 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
