Year-on-Year Performance:

• The company's operating income during the quarter grew 62.9% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were up by 62.8% YoY during the same period.
• The company's operating profit increased by 63.0% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins remained same and stood at 28.0% in 1QFY22.
• Depreciation charges increased by 1.3% and finance costs declined by 26.1% YoY, respectively.
• Other income declined by 2.6% YoY during the quarter.
• Net profit for the quarter increased by 115.4% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter increased from 12.0% in 1QFY21 to 16.1% in 1QFY22.

Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:

• The company's operating income during the quarter grew 8.5% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were up by 2.0% QoQ during the same period.
• The company's operating profit increased by 30.1% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 28.0% in 1QFY22 as against 23.3% in 4QFY21.
• Net profit for the quarter increased by 37.1% QoQ, while net profit margins increased from 12.6% in 4QFY21 to 16.1% in 1QFY22.
