Almost a month after refraining from making a public appearance, actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra was seen on Sunday promoting a COVID-19 fundraiser event - We for India.
In her Instagram Story, the 46-year-old actress was seen in athleisure clothing talking about the importance of breathing in difficult times. This was the first time the actress was seen after her businessman-husband Raj Kundra's arrest on July 19 in the infamous pornography case. Kundra is in judicial custody and his bail hearing has been adjourned till August 20.
Shetty Kundra, who was booked along with her mother Sunanda Shetty last week in cheating case, said that breathing exercises such as pranayam can help people overcome negative thoughts during difficult times.
The yoga and fitness enthusiast suggested pranayama can help stay positive and correct the breathing technique.
During her segment for Reliance Entertainment's 'We for India' event, the actress said, "It is natural to have negative thoughts during tough times. To control that, one must take control of their breathing. Hence, ‘pranayama’ has become an important tool in present time to stay positive."
Earlier, the 'Dhadkan' star had shared a statement on social media urging media and fans to respect her and her family's privacy. "We do not deserve a media trial. Please let the law take its course," she concluded.
For the India COVID-19 Response Fund event, B-town celebrities such as Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Siddharth Malhotra, Karisma Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Karthik Aaryan, Kalki Koechlin, Tusshar Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Rajkummar Rao, Sanjana Sanghi, Rannvijay Singha, Johnny Lever, Purab Kohli, Aditi Rao Hydari, Mira Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Chiranjeevi, Rakul Preet Singh, among many others, were seen sharing stories about real Covid heroes.
