ONGC has posted a standalone net profit of Rs4,335cr for the quarter ending June 2021 (Q1FY22) against a profit of Rs497cr a year ago same period - registering a growth of a whopping 772.2% yoy.
ONGC registered gross revenue of Rs23,022cr in the quarter under review, increasing by 76.9% from Rs13,011cr in the same period last year.
The company's crude oil price net realization was at $65.59 per barrel in Q1FY22 versus $28.87 per barrel in Q1FY21. In rupee terms, the net realization is at Rs4,836 per barrel in Q1FY22 from Rs2,190 per barrel in Q1FY21.
The company's price on GCV basis is $1.79 per mmbtu in Q1FY22 lower compared to $2.39 per mmbtu.
The company's total crude oil production stood at 5.395 MMT in the quarter ending June 2021, down by 4.8% from 5.665 MMT in the corresponding period of the previous year.
ONGC's total gas production was at 5.309 BCM in Q1FY22 versus 5.545 BCM in Q1FY21.
At 2 pm, ONGC was trading at Rs115 per piece down by 0.95% on Sensex.
