Thread: Shoulder injury

I haven't worked out in over 6 months due to a shoulder injury which couldn't be found out by 3 doctors on my first visits and this resulted in months that could be spent with recovery to be wasted. After going to another doctor and getting an MRI, turns out my right shoulder has 3 times less muscle than the left shoulder and thus after some time it didn't have enough power to hold the shoulder in place, resulting in it nearly being dislocated on every move.

So basically, I've worked out for years and never had a problem with my shoulder and turns out my shoulder wasn't fine all this time, but my traps and lats were doing it's work when it was failing and I never noticed it even through heavy lifting (around 100KG bench, 70KG shoulder press, etc). After some time, it decided to give up not hold the shoulder anymore so the joints started hitting each other on every movement above my head and it started giving me pain. I am now doing physical therapy specifically for my shoulder and was told that within around 3 months, my shoulder muscles will have been balanced and I can go back to all my activities. So after the shoulder muscles are developed back, it'll be strong enough to hold my arm in place so it doesn't dislocate.

Anyone had something similar to this before, or heard about it?
