England vs India Live Cricket Score: Mohammed Siraj took two in two as England went seven down in the second innings on Day 5 of the second Test at Lord's.
Mohammed Siraj took two wickets in two balls as England went seven down after Tea. England were placed at 90/7 after 38.2 overs, still needing 182 more runs to win. Skipper Joe Root was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah straight after Tea as Virat Kohli took a great low catch in the slips. England were completely on the backfoot after wickets of Haseeb Hameed and Jonny Bairstow to Ishant Sharma just before Tea. The home team got off to a worst possible start as they lost their openers Rory Burns and Dominic Sibley in the first two overs of the second innings on Day 5 of the second Test at Lord's. Burns fell to Jasprit Bumrah while Mohammed Shami dismissed Dominic Sibley to hand over the advantage to Team India. Earlier, Mohammed Shami scored a brilliant half-century, his second in Test cricket, and also stitched together an unbeaten 89-run ninth wicket stand with Jasprit Bumrah as India declared soon after Lunch to set England a 272-run target.
India declared at 298/8 after 109.3 overs and leading by 271 runs. Pacer Ollie Robinson got the crucial wickets of Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma to put England on top at the start of day's play.
