Lupita Nyong'o Hosts Screening of 'Candyman' in Atlanta

Lupita Nyong’o is celebrating the upcoming release of Candyman!

The 38-year-old Oscar-winning actress hosted a special screening of the upcoming horror movie, written and produced by pal Jordan Peele, on Sunday evening (August 15) CMX CineBistro Peachtree Corners in Atlanta, Georgia.

For the event, Lupita looked fierce in a leopard-print dress as she chatted with fans before and after the screening.

If you didn’t know, Lupita and Jordan are close friends, and worked together on the 2019 horror flick Us, which Lupita starred in and Jordan wrote and directed.

Lupita has a new Apple TV+ series in the works with this fellow Oscar winner.

Candyman is set to be released in theaters on August 27th. You can check out the super scary new trailer for the movie here!
