Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu is fired up to make history.
The 32-year-old shared photos from the upcoming movie along with a passionate statement on Saturday, seemingly in response to comments made by Disney chief executive Bob Chapek.
Simu wrote: "We are not an "interesting experiment". We are the underdog, the underestimated. We are the ceiling-breakers. We are the celebration of culture and joy that will persevere after an embattled year. We are the surprise. I'm fired the f**k up to make history on September 3rd; JOIN US. [sic]"

During an earnings call on Thursday, Bob announced that the studio would release Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Free Guy in theatres only, andit would not be made available on the same day on their streaming service Disney+, like with recent releases such as Black Widow and Mulan.
Bod said: "We actually think it will be an interesting experiment for us. The prospect of being able to take a Marvel title to the service after going theatrical for 45 days will be yet another data point to inform our actions going forward on our titles," reports Entertainment Weekly.
