Qatar's Minister of Commerce and Industry and acting Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari held a virtual meeting with Sri Lanka's State Minister of Regional Co-operation Tharaka Balasuriya. They touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed aspects of co-operation, especially in the commercial, investment and industrial fields, as well as ways to enhance and develop them.
Al-Kuwari highlighted the economic policies that Doha has adopted, especially in abolishing restrictions on foreign investment and creating more opportunities for companies looking to invest in Qatar.
