Their injuries ranged from moderate to serious, authorities said, and no other vehicles appeared to be involved.

Randy Paragary, famed Sacramento restauranteur, died Saturday shortly after being diagnosed with cancer, according to his business partner Kurt Spataro. Paragary was 74. “I think he was the consummate restauranteur. He loved the business, he loved everything about it. He loved building restaurants and seeing them come to life,” Spataro told KCRA 3. Over the course of 30 years, the business partners opened, closed and reconcepted several restaurants together, Spataro said.
