Haryana reports 22 new Covid-19 cases, 1 death

CHANDIGARH: After a gap of two months, Haryana on Sunday reported half of the recoveries than the new cases reported in the state. Haryana reported 22 cases, 11 recoveries and one death during the day.
The creation of vaccination site on the venues of Independence day celebrations too brought results as total 82859 persons got the vaccine jabs during the day.
56120 got the first dose while 26739 got the second dose. While cumulatieve coverage of vaccination of the state has gone to 13754525.
On Covid front , the cumulative total of the state has gone to 770208 cases, 759886 recoveries, 9658 deaths and 664 active cases. Of the total active cases, 103 are in home isolation while rest are hospitalized.
The only death of the state was reported from Jind districts and rest 21 districts did not report any new death. While cumulative death rate was reported to be 1.25%.
The positivity rate of the day was reported to be 0.07% and cumulative positivity rate was 6.84%. Recovery rate continued to be stable at 98.66%.
Highest 7 new cases were reported from Gurugram followed by three cases in Palwal. Two cases each were reported from Karnal and Rohtak districts.
While one case each was reported from Faridabad, Panchkula, Ambala, Sirsa, Kurukshetra, Mahendergarh, Rewari and Fatehabad district.
