Two arrested for molesting woman

Nanded, Aug 15 (UNI) The Airport police have arrested two accused for chasing a 30-year-old woman and trying to give her a "letter".
On August 13, a 30-year-old woman living within the limits of the Airport Police Station, arrived in the Wazirabad area at around at noon on Saturday.
After shopping for something she boarded an auto rickshaw in front of the SP office and alighted at Srinagar. During the trip the two accused chased her and attempted to hand over a "letter" but the woman did not give a response. To avoid them she again boarded an autorickshaw and reached Shiv Mandir Chaitanya Nagar. There, too, the accused followed her and again attempted to hand over the letter. The woman told the matter to the police officer deployed at the place, accordingly the accused were taken to the police station.
The accused were identified as Sushil Laxmikant Joshi (40) and Kiran Kishor Suratwala (40). One of them was apologizing but the woman did not yield. Purpose of attempting to give a letter could not be ascertained. Many churches had come to settle the matter. But the woman was adamant in her decision. Acting on her complaint the Airport police registered a case against the accused under Sections 354, 354 (d) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Inspector Aniruddha Kakade was investigating the matter.
