MPCC chief on 2-day tour of Marathwada from tomorrow

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Aug 15 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Nana Patole will be on two-day tour of Aurangabad, Jalna and Buldhana districts from Monday to attend various events organised by the party workers and office-bearers.

Mr Patole will arrive tomorrow morning in city, where he will pay tributes to statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Rajshri Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule from 0900 hours onwards, city and district comittee president Hisham Osmani told UNI.

At 1030 hrs he will attend 'Vairth Na Ho Balidan' programme at Tapdiya Natya Mandir, where the freedom fighters will be honoured.

Then, from 1400 hrs to 1500 hrs, the MPCC chief will meet office-bearers from four districts of Marathwada at the party office and address a press conference, said Mr Osmani.

After that, he will meet party workers at Sagar Lawns at 1530 hrs.

Then, at 1730 hrs, he will guide the gathering at a meeting of Bhimshakti Sanghatana organized at Tapdia Natyamandir.

After overnight stay at residence of former MLA Dr Kalyan Kale, he will on August 17 proceed towards Jalna, where he will attend the party programmes.

Later, he will leave for Buldhana to attend various programmes and from there, he will leave for Mumbai on same day at night, Mr Osmani added.
