As the nation is celebrating the 75th Independence Day, the feel of patriotism in every citizen of India is at its peak. The nation is remembering the efforts and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, soldiers and saluting them who are responsible for the freedom we enjoy today. B-Town celebs have also come forward to spread the patriotic spirit and wish people a happy Independence Day. While, Farhan Akhtar tweeted, 'Happy Independence Day', actress Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram handle and dropped a picture with a quote, 'Jo shahid hue unki yaad karo kurbani'. Actor Sidharth Malhorta, who recently featured in the film 'Shershaah' based on the Kargil War hero Captain Vikram Batra, also took to his Instagram handle and dropped a picture of him holding the country's flag high and penned a note in Hindi which loosely translates to, 'There is no other status greater than the status of a soldier. There is no greater pride than the glory of a uniform. And there is no religion bigger than our own country. I salute the Indian Army, Navy & Air Force today on Independence Day'.
