Aurangabad / Mumbai, Aug 15 (UNI) Maharashtra on Sunday reported 4,797 fresh Covid-19 patients and 130 fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 63,92,660 and the toll to 1,35,039, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 3,710 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 61,89,933.
The state's recovery rate slipped to 96.83 per cent while the fatality rate remained steady at 2.11 per cent.
There are now 64,219 active cases across the state, added the bulletin.
