Although the moon is waxing this week, which usually signals a time to focus on acquisition and profit, Monday and Tuesday provide the perfect opportunity to let go and eliminate what is no longer efficient or valuable in your life. In other words, expect a few curveballs early in the week – and stick to using those curveballs to your advantage.

Here’s why: at the beginning of the week, Mercury quinunx or conjunction Pluto in Virgo, while the Sun does the same with Saturn. As a reminder, Mercury rules communication, while the sun indicates the general mood of the day. Pluto, for example, tells us to have our power without blackouts, and Saturn is the planet of discipline. Since these two constraints (aspects that draw our attention to making up for differences by redefining our relationship with an obstacle) occur simultaneously at the beginning of the week, take time to review your relationship with the problems you are facing , to judge.

Ask yourself how you can present yourself differently to the challenges you face. Without negating or denying the issues at hand or your feelings in general, challenge yourself to make adjustments in how you encounter or work with these obstacles.

As it becomes more apparent every day, there is no going back to normal from 2019. Instead, we find ourselves in the birth canal of an emerging reality – a messy birth canal that we can move through while using our moxie to navigate it to the best of our ability . Fortunately, this week culminates in a waxing gibbous moon leading to the full moon on Sunday in Aquarius. This is the second full moon in a row in Aquarius and it challenges us to maintain our individuality while cooperating and working together with others to create a better future for all. Before we can reach the unhindered potential of the upcoming full moon, however, the week ahead calls for compromises.

To assist us in this, Mercury and Mars will conjunct Virgo on Wednesday, supporting the ability to rationalize and eliminate what is no longer working. And then – drum roll please – Mercury in Virgo trigons, Uranus in Taurus, and Mars will soon follow. Mercury trines Uranus while Mars applies a trine for Uranus (Mars will perfect its trine for Uranus when the full moon comes on Sunday) is very creative. To reiterate, we have an incredibly creative ending to the week ahead that will lead us to a greater sense of liberation and growth.

We have an incredibly creative end to the week ahead that leads us to a greater sense of liberation and growth.

With this in mind, plan time for creativity in your calendar, especially on the weekend. Feed your soul and body so that you feel centered and free. Use your intuition and assess how you want to move forward.

On Sunday, August 22nd, the full moon in Aquarius invites us to shake off all the proverbial shackles that hold us so tight. You can prepare for this epic lunar event in the coming days by clarifying what you are leaving behind and what you want to summon, create and achieve over the next few months.

Remember, hope is all about accepting life exactly as it is (there is no need to ignore or deny this need) and consistently do what you can to improve life. Similarly, resilience is the ability to face life for what it is and choose to have a better tomorrow despite the obstacles that emerge.

While there are no shortcuts to success or a lack of problems to think about right now, with a focused and careful approach you can (and will) achieve so much for the week ahead and the remaining months of 2021 ).

Don’t forget the power of small acts of self-care. Drink plenty of water and eat in a way that feels nutritious to you. Prioritize sleep and a routine that will allow you to rest. Trust that creative solutions will emerge (even to the world’s most daunting problems). Finally (and most importantly), you know it’s time to retire the old and make room for what’s to come.
