Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila are up and running again!

The Limpopo-based club will participate in the GladAfrica Championship after shockingly purchasing the Premier Soccer League (PSL) status of Royal AM.

"We are delighted to announce that Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila Football Club has of 13 August 2021 acquired the status of Royal AM Football Club in the Glad Africa Championship League. Thus, Royal AM Football Club will change its name to TTM FC and relocate to Thohoyandou Stadium," a statement read on Saturday.

Under the leadership of Masala Mulaudzi, TTM bought the PSL status of cash-strapped Bidvest Wits last season.

However, less than six months into top-flight football and struggling financially to uphold the club, Mulaudzi sold TTM to Dr Abram Sello.

Sello, who wanted to change the club's name, could only do so in the new season. He steadied the ship at TTM, and they went on to win the Nedbank Cup, securing a spot in CAF Confederations Cup.

Ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, Sello renamed TTM to Marumo Gallants, allowing original TTM owners to capture Royal AM's PSL status.

Meanwhile, according to reports, Royal AM is now in contention to make a remarkable return.

They will use the money from the sale to reportedly purchase the status of Bloemfontein Celtic, whose owner Max Tshabalala, is interested in selling the financially stricken club.
