THANE: An unidentified dead body of a man was found floating in Masunda lake, also known as Talao Pali, in Thane on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased is said to be around 30-35 years of age.
After being alerted, local firemen and personnel of the Thane Disaster Response Force rushed to the spot.
The body was fished out by rescue teams and handed over to Naupada police, Thane Municipal Corporation's regional disaster management cell chief Santosh Kadam said.
The Naupada police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
