Gwalior, MP, Aug 14 (UNI) Three contractual employees – of the Municipal Corporation – died on the spot and as many sustained injuries after falling from a hydraulic machine on Saturday during preparations for the Independence Day function at an old government building at Maharaj Bada in this divisional headquarters, law-enforcement authorities said.
The workers were in the machine’s cabin for readying the building’s upper portion for unfurling of the National Flag. A technical fault resulted in the accident that claimed Pradeep Rajauriya, Kuldeep and Vinod Sharma. Those hurt were rushed to an infirmary.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed condolences via social media.
