Honda is all set to launch the 2021 facelift for their entry level model Amaze. This sub-4 meter sedan is actually one of the best selling car for Honda in Indian market. Honda launched the current generation Amaze in the market few years ago and ever since then, Honda has made no changes to it. Honda will soon be launching the facelifted version of Amaze in the market but even before its official launch, it has already started reaching dealerships. Here we have a walkaround video of upcoming Honda Amaze facelift S CVT variant.

The video has been uploaded by The Car Show on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger talks about all the changes and features that are offered with the S variant of Honda Amaze. On the outside, Honda has made minor cosmetic changes to the facelift. Unlike top-end version, the S variant does not come with LED headlamps. It gets regular halogen headlamps with LED DRLs in it.

The front grille has been revised and it now comes with chrome lines on it. The S variant misses out on fog lamps but, it does come with chrome garnish in the fog lampĀ  area. Coming to the side profile, the S variant comes with regular steel rims with silver wheels caps. No changes have been made to the overall design of the car. It retains, features like electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrates turn indicators in them, body coloured door handles, shark fin antenna and so on.

As we move to the rear, more changes are visible here. Design on the tail lamps have not changed however they now get LED elements in them. Amaze branding and Honda Logo are all at the same place as before. A chrome strip is seen at the bottom of the bumper in the facelift version. On the inside, Honda Amaze facelift looks the same as before.

There are no major changes seen here. The car gets black and beige interiors. The dashboard also gets silver accents at places. The steering controls mounted on it to control the audio. Instrument cluster remains the same and so does the 2 Din infotainment system. The seats gets beige colour fabric upholstery and the driver seat is manually height adjustable. It gets manual AC control and it does not offer rear AC vents. This is a CVT gearbox version which is mated to a petrol engine.

Honda will be officially launching the Amaze facelift on 18 August 2021. Amaze will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version of the sedan will be powered by a 1.2 litre i-VTEC engine that generates 90 Ps and 110 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version of the Amaze gets a 1.5 litre i-DTEC engine that generates 100 Ps and 200 Nm of peak torque. Both petrol and diesel engine options of Honda Amaze are offered with manual and CVT gearbox options. Honda Amaze is the only car in the segment to offer CVT with a diesel engine. Honda Amaze competes with cars like Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor in the segment.
