Who is Pinky Chaudhary? Man allegedly involved in communal sloganeering gets relief from arrest

Hindu Raksha Dal leader, Pinky Chaudhary, who was allegedly involved in raising anti-muslim slogans at Jantar Mantar has been granted relief from his arrest till August 16. The Patiala House court said that he cannot be arrested till August 16, and the Delhi court has granted him relief from the same.

Earlier, six people who were allegedly involved in communal sloganeering were arrested. Later, they were granted bail. The people who got arrested were– Advocate Ashwini Upadhyay, Deepak Kumar, Vinit Bajpai, Vinod Sharma, Deepak Singh, and Preet Singh.

The police arrested people who were seen in the viral video raising slogans. The video of people raising communal slogans went viral on social media. In the video, some people were raising hate slogans in which they targeted members of a specific community.

Recently, a picture of Pinky Chaudhary went viral on social media, in which he is posing with many guns. Soon after that, a trend made its way on Twitter, that says #PinkyChaudharyGirftarKaro.

Talking about Pinky Chaudhary, this is not the first time, when Hindu Raksha leader’s chief was allegedly involved in propagating hate. Earlier, in April, Pinky shared a video on Facebook in which he announced that a reward of Rs 51,000 will be provided to the person who would bring the head of Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan. Later, an FIR was lodged against him under sections 153(A) and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The Delhi Police also said that they have registered a case against Pinky Chaudhary for threatening a speaker in his Facebook live, and they lodged it under sections 153(A) and 506 of IPC has been registered at PS Parliament Street.
