JAMMU: J&K Police along with Army and CRPF on Friday in a joint operation arrested another new recruit to Hizb-ul-Mujhadeen (HM) ranks along with arms and ammunition from Kulna forest area of Patimahalla Palmar of Kishtwar district.
On August 9 too, the security forces arrested two new HM recruits from village Sounder of Dachhan of Kishtwar.
Police spokesperson said, “The third youth who joined terrorist ranks few days back has also been arrested in joint operation launched by the
Kishtwar Police, Army 17 RR and CRPF 52 Bn from Kulna forest area of Patimahalla Palmar of Kishtwar.”
He has been identified as Muzamil Hussain Shah, a local of Kishtwar.
Security forces also have recovered arms and ammunition from his possession which include a Grenade, a AK-47 magazine and 30 rounds.
Sharing details of the August 9 arrest, police said, "The duo has been identified namely as Yasir Hussain, a resident of Sounder-Dachhan of Kishtwar district and Usman Qadir son of Ghulam Qadir, a resident of Tander-Dachhan of Kishtwar who reportedly had gone missing since 05/08/2021 "
