Liquid Intelligent Uganda increases data fees amid 12% excise duty

Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda has increased its data prices following a 12 percent excise duty imposed by the government internet use, Techjaja reported. CEO Kahindi Dennis said 5 Mbps will now cost UGX 224,000, up from UGX 200,000, with the 10 Mbps service now costing UGX 448,500 instead of UGX 400,000 and the 15 Mbps service at UGX 672,000 instead of UGX 600,000.
