This is with reference to SEBI circular SEBI/HO/CDMRD/DMP/CIR/P/2018/55 dated March 26, 2018 and SEBI circular SEBI/HO/CDMRD/DNPMP/CIR/P/2019/84 dated July 26, 2019 regarding Guidelines for Liquidity Enhancement Scheme (LES) in commodity derivatives contracts.  

BSE vide its circular no. 20210709-16 dated July 09, 2021 had announced Introduction of Liquidity Enhancement Scheme (LES) in Steel Billets Futures Contract.

Based on the market feedback received by the Exchange, it has been decided to revise the existing Liquidity Enhancement Scheme (LES) for Steel Billets Futures in Commodity Derivatives from September 01, 2021. 

Details of scheme for market making and market maker selection process is attached as Annexure I – Steel Billets Futures.

In view of the same, the interested applicants can submit their bids in the format specified (as per Annexure II – Steel Billets Futures) from August 17,2021 to August 18, 2021.

The exchange will appoint one Designated Primary Market Maker (DPMM) for the Steel Billets Futures contract based on a competitive bidding procedure. 

Based on the evaluation scores as specified in the LES for Annexure I – Steel Billets Futures, the member shall be appointed as DPMM. 

Members are requested to send their bids in password protected file (strictly password protected file only) through email to Mr. Ranjith Singh at Ranjith.singh2@bseindia.com within above mentioned dates only. No new / revision of bids shall be entertained after the lapse of cut off time. 

However, it is mandatory for members to provide the password of the said file on August 20,2021 (before 2 pm). In case, password of the said file is not received within the specified time, the bids of the said member shall be considered as disqualified.
